A walk through the session
Physio Athlete
STEP 1 |
INITIAL INTERVIEW
The first step will be a face-to-face contact in which the physiotherapist will guide you through a series of questions aimed at identifying everything that is relevant to the diagnosis and treatment. In addition, personal data will be collected for the preparation of a clinical history, in case it is your first session.
STEP 2 |
PHYSICAL EXAMINATION
Let's get down to work! The physiotherapist will ask you to perform different movements or "tests", as well as using their hands as a way of identifying your symptoms and establishing treatment.
STEP 3 |
ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION
In certain cases, an ultrasound examination will be performed to assist in the diagnosis of the lesion.
STEP 4 |
TREATMENT
Finally, we treat the problem with the different tools available to us: manual therapy, invasive therapy and therapeutic exercise. In some cases only one of the tools will be applied and in others a combination of all of them, depending on the previous assessment.
